Well, for many of us, this was the beginning.  A few of us neighborhood kids - Bob Barden, drums -  Larry Canfield, bass - Ron Carr, vocals - Ed Liberty, guitar - Ray Papish, guitar - Hank Stecher, drums - Russ Tinnin, bass - got together, learned a few songs and started a band.  As far as we can remember, it was called the Marauders.  Pictured below are pictures of The Marauders, including its appearance at Ed’s Tavern (owned by Ed Wuch - Hank’s uncle) and at its first paying gig, Gardenville A-Go-Go, where Bob recalls we each earned $5 for our efforts.
